China Mobile has achieved phenomenal success in its 4G business, gaining over 500 million 4G subscribers, which means it has achieved the goal set at the beginning of the year, president of China Mobile Li Yue said on November 24.
At 2016 Global Mobile Broadband Forum, the president reported the latest 4G data at the end of October this year. China Mobile, according to him, has constructed 1.42 million 4G base stations which account for 33% of the total worldwide and launched VoLTE services in 313 cities. More than 2398 modes of handsets support TD-LTE of China Mobile, of which more than 70% are priced around CNY 1,000.
