China Mobile released the operating data in August on September 20.
Its 4G subscribers increased 17.869 million to 466.637 million last month, reducing 11.7% compared with the growth, 20.227 million, in July. A 2.87 million decline happened to its 3G subscribers, reaching 124.456 million last month. This year China Mobile has added 154.655 million 4G subscribers while losing 44.93 million 3G subscribers. Posting 19.21 million net adds in 2G, the operator had 840.833 million 2G subscribers by last month.
On the other hand, the fixed broadband subscribers of China Mobile marked an increase of 2.594 million and hit 71.167 million totally last month, showing slower growth when compared with July.
