According to the Chinese government official procurement website, Cisco has recently returned to Chinese central government procurement catalog with its 31 products including Wifi, router and switch involved in the network product item of the Chinese government procurement catalog for 2016.
Over 60 Cisco products were included in the Chinese central government procurement catalog in 2012. However, Cisco has been removed from the catalog after 2014 under the influence of information security review and other factors. Meanwhile, Apple products were also excluded. In 2015, Cisco and Inspur have jointly invested $ 100 million to set up a joint venture controlled by the Chinese side, announcing to provide safe, trusted information infrastructure for China, which may be the main reason of Cisco's returning to Chinese government procurement catalog.
ACFTU (All China Federation of Trade Unions) and China Meteorological Administration have started purchasing Cisco products at present.
