The Ministry of Commerce ruled the anti-dumping duties against Indian single-mode fiber

Last week, Chinese Ministry of Commerce released the 56th announcement of 2014, the final determination judged an anti-dumping duties against single-mode fibers which are imported from India, the implementation period is 5 years since August 14th of 2014.

The announcement said, after investigation, Ministry of Commerce ruled that in the investigation period of this case, there is an existence of dumping of the imported single-mode fibers originating from India, and it threated the domestic industry by the substantial damage, and there is also causal relationship existing between the dumping and substantial damage. According to the "Regulations of anti-dumping in the people's Republic of China”, the Ministry of Commerce decided that it would rule the anti-dumping duties against the referred products since August 14, 2014. The import operator should pay the anti-dumping duties in the listed companies according to the announcement when importing these products.

On the request of domestic industries, the Ministry of Commerce formally started the anti-dumping investigation on August 14, 2013, and decided to take the provisional anti-dumping duties on the relevant products in the preliminary decision on May 13, 2014.
