This is to officially announce the New Term of Board and Senior Executive Team of ZTE Corporation.
ZTE Corporation held the first meeting of the Fifth Term Board of Directors in Shenzhen, March 30, 2010. The meeting discussed and approved “The Proposal of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Fifth Term Board of Directors of ZTE Corporation”. Mr Hou Weigui was elected as Chairman. Mr Lei Fanpei and Mr. Xie Weiliang were elected as Vice Chairmen. Mr Yin Yimin, Mr Shi Lirong and Mr He Shiyou continue to hold the seats of Directors.
The meeting concurrently discussed and approved “The Proposal of Appointed Senior Executive Team of ZTE Corporation”. Mr. Shi Lirong was appointed as President of the Company. Mr. He Shiyou, Mr. Wei Zaisheng, Mr. Xie Daxiong, Mr. Tian Wenguo, Mr. Qiu Weizhao and Mr. Fan Qingfeng continue to act as Executive Vice President. Mr. Wei Zaisheng continues to act as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Following the resolutions and the requirements of the Fifth Board, the new term of senior executive team is obliged to further explore the changes in the global telecom marketplace and adhere to advancing and innovating the corporate strategy in accordance with the clients’ dynamic demand, and leading the company to grow into a world-class enterprise in the next development strategy as well as further rewarding the society, the shareholders and the employees with premier performance
The new term of Board and Senior Executive Team of ZTE Corporation take office starting from the issue date of this announcement.
