China Mobile recently disclosed that the number of China's TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) users has exceeded 5 million.

Furthermore, the third phase project of the TD-SCDMA network has also been successfully completed, and currently, 70 percent of China's prefecture-level cities are now covered by the network.

In the eastern provinces of China, all prefecture-level cities are covered by the TD-SCDMA network and the number of base stations has exceeded 100,000 with the core index at the 2G level.
