Potevio said it is the first TD-SCDMA commercial network in Europe and also a milestone for TD-SCDMA's expansion into European markets.
According to the Chinese telecom equipment provider's earlier statement, both parties inked a strategic agreement on Jul. 18 and started construction and deployment of the project on Sep. 1.
Potevio finalized the construction of the network on Sep. 12, and is currently in talks with the Italian cooperator for the second round network construction, said the report.
