China Unicom has reported a decline of 413,000 pre-paid and post-paid CDMA cell phone users in the month of July as compared to the previous month.

In July as per the company records, it had 42.756 million CDMA cell phone subscribers which is less than the June’s record of 43.169 million users. On the contrary GSM cell phone users surged by 952,000 and have reached 128.55 million in July.

Both China Telecom and China Netcom witnessed drop in fixedline subscriber base by 600,000 and 302,000 respectively.
