ZTE ties-up with Chinese operators to provide 3G network support for Olympic Games
ZTE, a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions announced that it has joined hands with all major telecom operators of the country to provide broad range of telecom products and solutions to help in the smooth operations of 3G network infrastructure deployed for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
ZTE will deploy 200-manpower for this grand sporting event to provide technical support in managing the 3G communication network.
ZTE’s association with major telecom players will ensure support to various communications services including 3G TD-SCDMA network, TD-SCDMA mobile phones, GoTa (Global open Trunking architecture) emergency communications, broadband access, IPTV, and optical transmission.
The telecom firms which have tied-up with ZTE to provide and manage large 3G communication network includes China Mobile, China Telecom, China Satellite Communication, China Unicom and China Netcom.
