China Telecom has reportedly issued the second-stage construction plan for TD-SCDMA network to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The plan is set to cover the provincial capital cities, according to a China Tech News report. Two possibilities are emerging about the plan. One is that will cover the 38 major cities in China. Second is that the plan will cover not more than 30 cities.

In accordance with procedures, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will give the confirmation. It will decide the overall scale of the TD-SCDMA network and the scale in every city.
