Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, unveiled its most-advanced WiMAX distributed BTS at the WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2008, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Zhao Ming, Vice President of Huawei Wireless Product line, delivered a keynote speech at the forum:"Broadband and convergence: paving the way for the future mobile internet". He expressed that guided by the four development concepts of "Convergence, Broadband, Green, and Evolution", Huawei has established and maintained its leading position in the wireless broadband industry through considerable investment.

At the forum, Huawei unveiled its most advanced WiMAX distributed BTS which is able to help operators build better future-oriented mobile WiMAX networks. The fourth generation BTS will help operators reduce resources like equipment room and energy, which are the key to green communications.
