On December 13, China Mobile launched MVNO services in London, CMLink, providing high quality voice calls and data traffic services for overseas Chinese students, business and working visitors living in the UK. This is also the first time that China Mobile launched MVNO services in a foreign country.
The servicing areas of CMLink 4G packages cover UK, designated areas in EU, China mainland and Hong Kong, it is currently the only MVNO service that doesn’t contain extra charge for data traffic, voice call and SMS; the users can make free calls to 880 million China Mobile domestic users and enjoy superior and convenient voice call experience; it also offers a "data traffic growth package" that allows users to receive an additional 5% data traffic per month, with up to 200% rewards.
In specific, the ¡ê5/month package includes 150 minutes of voice calls, unlimited SMS, 500M data traffic and the traffic can be upgraded to 1.5G;
The ¡ê10/month package includes 500 minutes of voice calls, unlimited SMS, 3G data traffic and can be upgraded to 9G;
The ¡ê18/month package includes 2,000 minutes of voice calls, unlimited SMS, 9G data traffic and can be upgraded to 27G;
In particular, the "data traffic growth package" allows users to continuously get extra traffic and eventually reach up to 200% of the data traffic in the package.
Take the ¡ê18/month package for example, the data traffic is 9G in the first month, it then becomes 11.3G in the sixth month and reach up to 27G eventually.
