Data from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) showed that there are 1.10082 billion mobile phones manufactured in China in the first seven months of this year with a 4 percent year-over-year increase.
Smartphone production rose 3.4 percent to 820.75 million, accounting for 74.6 percent of the total in China.
