MIIT released the 1Q17 electronic information manufacturing industry operation report recently.
The whole industry has maintained a stable growing trend during the period. The industry production growth has accelerated obviously while the communication equipment, electronic components and electronic components have kept double-digit growth.
China produced 483.89 million mobile phones with a 8.5 percent YoY increase in Q1, including 358.66 million smartphones, up 11.4 percent accounting for 74.1 percent of the country's total handset production. A 17.6 percent rise happened to the export delivery value of mobile phone year-over-year, quarterly, which was 15.8 percent in March.
