TeliaSonera said on Thursday it was one of the winners in an auction for frequencies in a
4G mobile network in Sweden at a cost of 563 million Swedish crowns ($94 million).
The firm, the Nordic region''s biggest telecom operator, said in a statement this cost had not been included in expected spending plans given in its first-quarter results.
"The group outlook (in the quarterly report) was reiterated and capital expenditure is expected to be around 15 billion crowns in 2008," the firm said. "However, the Swedish frequency auction price of 563 million is not included in the expected capital expenditure figure."
