CEC Telecom Launches Chinese 3G Standard Based Mobile Phone

China''s Qiao Xing Mobile, through its subsidiary CEC Telecom (CECT) says that it has launched a 3G handset, the G100 which is based on China''s 3G standard, TD-SCDMA.

This latest innovative model consists of features allowing users to experience the full range of 3G content, including video conferencing and high-speed internet functions. Further to the Company''s principle strategy of developing differentiated mobile handsets with value- added features, the new G100 will also be equipped with some of CECT''s most popular original features, such as the well-known ultra-long standby battery, voice recognition, multimedia player and a high resolution camera.

Commenting on the new model, Mr. David Li, the CEO of Qiao Xing Mobile, "I am very pleased with our new breakthrough. It will provide our customers with all of the functions they need to use and experience the forthcoming 3G technology. I am also very grateful for the hard work our team here has put into developing the phone."
