GNTC 2016 (Global Network Technology Conference) was held on December 7. Wu Jianping, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering said at the conference that China's constructed the largest IPv6 network worldwide through CNGI (China's Next Generation Internet project).
However, the progress of IPv6 in China has been slow since 2013 according to the academician. China's operators, for instance, have long adopted private address translation while the foreign operators choose shared address.
