Recently, intellectual property channel of People's Daily Online and Intellectual Property Publishing iThink Tank jointly issued the patents ranking list of China in 2014.
This list horizontally includes enterprises, universities and research institutions and invention, utility model and appearance patents vertically, the TOP 10 are appraised and elected respectively.
In concern of the enterprise invention patents, ZTE is in the first place with 2420 invention patents, Huawei (2409), Sinopec (1897), State Grid (1476) and Panasonic (1196) are in the top five, while others in the top 10 also include Toyota, Qualcomm, Canon, Hon Hai Precision Industry and Mitsubishi Electric Corp.
