T-Mobile Germany are preparing to sell a version of the ASUS Eee PC 901 with integrated 3G mobile broadband.  The Eee PC 901 GO will include an unspecified GSM 3G card and an “ASUS Connection Manager” that the carrier developed in partnership with ASUS themselves.
Few details other than that have been given.  T-Mobile’s statement suggests that the connection would be up and running quickly after the netbook is switched on, and that the battery life will be up to five hours surfing.

T-Mobile have previously given away ASUS’ budget ultraportable as a sweetener for their broadband deal, but this is the first time a carrier has offered a WWAN-enabled version of the netbook as a specific device from their catalog.  It remains to be seen whether they will subsidize the initial cost of the Eee PC in return for a data plan commitment.
