Foxconn Electronics was reported to be expected to soon land orders for a 13-inch consumer notebook from Hewlett-Packard (HP) and once the order is confirmed, Foxconn's notebook clients will increase to four – Sony, Apple, Dell and HP, according to a Chinese-language Apply Daily report.

Innolux Display, a panel making subsidiary of Foxconn was also reportedly forming a team to prepare for notebook panel manufacturing, added the paper.

The spokesperson from Foxconn has refuted the speculation of landing HP orders, while Innolux did not comment on its expected business adjustment, noted the paper.
