Japanese electronics conglomerate NEC Corp will stop outsourcing production of personal computers in Japan by the end of the year and consolidate its assembly lines, the Nikkei business daily said on Monday.

NEC plans to bring together its dispersed assembly lines at a factory in Yamagata Prefecture, the newspaper said.
