Google Inc's worldwide revenue from YouTube ads has fallen short of its expectations and is likely to total about $200 million for the full year, The Wall Street Journal said citing two people familiar with the matter.

Google also plans to significantly cut back on the number of clips it would sell ads against, so as not to sell them against infringing material, the newspaper said, citing one source.
