Yahoo Inc. announced a reorganization plan that seeks to centralize its product development and increase global revenue, in an effort to beat back concerns about the Internet giant's ability to compete as an independent company.
Yahoo President Sue Decker said the new blueprint aims to speed development of products that have audiences in different countries -- such as email and instant messaging -- by cutting back on approvals needed to launch them.
