CATR (China Academy of Telecommunication Research) released China's handset market operating report in November recently.
In November, 54.521 million handsets are shipped in November, rising 2.4% YoY; 99 models are released with a decline of 34%. During the first 11 months in 2016, China's handset shipments reach 497 million and 1320 models come out with a 7.6% increase and 4.1% decrease respectively.
In November, 4G handset shipments post a 11 percent gain in China, reaching 51.463 million while 87 4G models come out, falling 27.5%. During the first 11 months in 2016, 459 million 4G handsets are shipped, accounting for 92.4% of the total shipments in China while 1132 4G models are released accounting for 85.8% of the total.
71.5% of China's 4G handset shipments in November are all-network, of which FDD, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, cdma2000 respectively catch 78.2%, 97.8%, 77.3%, 72.4%.
