According to its latest financial statements, the operating revenue of 2Q15 was only half of that of the same period in last year, with a loss of more than $200 million. Compared with the beginning of this year, its share price has shrunk by nearly 60%. In order to restore its performance, HTC recently announced that it would go through a restructuring plan, which will cut down the company's operating costs by 35% and reduce 15% of its employees in global.
