In the 2015 spring new products release conference, the COO of TCL Wang Jiyang revealed that TCL’s goal is to become "the world's top three and number one in domestic mobile phone market" in 2015, therefore, TCL has launched IDOL3 mobile phone, smart watch, happiness doctor Apps and a series of other new products and services.
The President of TCL Li Dongsheng made clear direction of the future development of the group, he pointed out that the orientation of TCL would be an "international smart devices manufacturing and Internet application servicing company" in the future.
According to the performance data of TCL in the first quarter, the total sales of its mobile phones and other devices were 5.662 million in March, with a year-on-year growth rate of 22%, and the cumulative number reached 15.83 million in the first 3 months of this year, with a year-on-year growth rate of 16%.
Domestic market is the important "battlefield" of TCL in this year, as we have learnt, TCL mobile phones have achieved rapid growth ever since it returned back to domestic market, the monthly shipments have exceeded 1 million and it plans to reach shipments of 15 million in the domestic market in 2015.
