Coolpad expected oversea sales will breakthrough CNY 2 billion in 2014 with a growth rate of 300%

The chairman of Coolpad Guo Deying said at the company's annual meeting, Coolpad has successfully maintained the leadership in China 4G smartphone market in four consecutive months in 2014; the E-commerce of Coolpad was started from zero and its Dazen family stepped into the top three E-commerce brands in domestic in only one year and has obtained more than 15 million fans. In addition, the oversea sales were expected to breakthrough CNY 2 billion in 2014, with a growth rate of 300%.

Guo Deying believes that the industry opportunities in 2015 mainly lies in the following aspects: first, there will be a significant opportunity for China 4G smartphone market, the proportion of which will reach 70% in 2015; second, opportunities in oversea markets which represented by Asia Pacific and Africa markets are huge and compound growth rate of smartphone market will reach 12% in Asia Pacific regions in the next three years; third, the integration of online and offline business model shows strong vitality, the cooperation between Coolpad and Qihoo 360 will push the Dazen family to a new level. At the same time, the smart hardware market will enter in an explosive growth stage, and the scale of wearable device market will reach CNY 13.56 billion, with a growth rate of up to 516%.

At the end of last year, Coolpad began a series of strategic reforms, which carried out full implementation of the "four carriages strategy" of the operator channels, the E-commerce channels, the social public channels and overseas markets, and the three brands of Coolpad, namely the Coolpad, Dazen and ivvi, have come into independent operation.

Guo Deying said: "Coolpad has experienced three major transformations since its foundation, the entrepreneurial transformation in 2003 successfully brought us into smartphone field, the transformation in 2008 comprehensively brought us into 3 kinds of 3G market in China, while this transformation in 2014-2015 will bring Coolpad into a breakthrough in the global market. As long as we work together, we can achieve the CNY 100 billion sales target of Coolpad."
