At a dedicated event in Paris, Huawei - the third biggest smartphone maker in the world – announced its brand new flagship smartphone, the Ascend P7. Here’s where we take a look at the new Huawei Ascend P7’s release date, specs and features.
The Huawei Ascend P7 is a slim 5-inch, 4G Android smartphone that looks great. It's set to cost about$US625 and will be available across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
The Ascend comes with new features including a “groufie mode” that uses panoramic software to allow the ultimate group selfie. A super power-saving mode adapts to the most suitable use of power when the battery level is at 10 percent or less, and alternate UIs are offered for “newbies” and experienced smartphone users.

We are now ranked number three globally in terms of smartphone shipments, and our brand recognition is growing steadily in key regions such as China and Western Europe,”
