Most of handset manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and LG are trying hard to challenge the iPhone 3G. Most of these manufacturers are planning to launch their touch phones to counter Apple iPhone.

They are also creating their online music site to compete directly to the Apples’ iTunes which is considered as the biggest music songs reseller in the world. All mobile phones plans were prompted to recent launch of iPhone 3G in India to expand its reach to estimated 200 million mobile users.

Mobile phone use is growing significantly in India but only thing which deter many users from having a cell phone  is the big price tag. It is a great opportunity of other manufactures to launch cheaper models to attract customers without losing it to Apple.
Currently iPhone is priced at Rs. 31,000 (8GB) and Rs.36,000 for 16GB model. As reports are in air that Nokia is planning to roll out its touch screen model and it will its first touch phone to be launched.
