It seems even Vodafone knows that the price of Rs 31,000 for iPhone in India may weigh heavy on consumer’s pocket. And in a bid to weigh down this burden, the company has tied up with Axis Bank and Vodafone to provide iPhone on s6 or 12 equated monthly installments (EMIs).
Customers have to purchase the iPhone using credit cards of these banks.
Reports say the company is also in talks with ICICI Bank while talks with Citibank have not been successful.
Bharti Airtel has said that it has no plans to offer iPhone on EMIs as of now though it is working on introducing some other schemes.
