LG announced the launch of LG1 000 , CDMA handset with full touch  screen capabilities and targeted towards the business users. LG claims that the handset has full screen capability as well as QWERTY keypad, a unique combination which is not present even in iPhone.

The handset is equipped with a voice recorded as well and has a screen of size 2.8” along with a 2 mega pixel camera, extendable memory upto 8GB, Office applications for Corporate Mail Access (Push Mail through Microsoft Server, Pull Mail through IMAP and POP3), full HTML browser and high speed internet connectivity.

The battery life of the handset supports 240 minutes talk time and upto 480 hours stand-by time. IT has a call memory of 270 calls and phone book memory of 1000. 

Steve Koh, country head of LG CDMA said, “This handset is the first of its kind from LG dedicated to our CDMA customers and is of special interest to their business needs. With features like the Full Touch screen, QWERTY KEYPAD, HTML enables browser, Push & Pull Mail, it is the most ideal phone in this segment.”

The handset will be on offer for a price ranging from Rs 22,000 to Rs 25,000.
