Nokia has announced the completion of transfer of its adaptation software R&D unit based in Bochum, Germany to Telecommunication software solutions provider Sasken Communication Technologies.
As per the deal signed between the two companies, the move represents only the transfer of 35 current employees of software R&D entity to continue their software development under Sasken.
Commenting upon the development, Edwin Moses, Senior Vice President - Handset Solutions Group, Sasken said “The Bochum staff will strengthen Sasken’s offering especially in the areas of Series 40 software platform, local connectivity and core software for silicon and hardware access.”
