How far is it for SDN to scale commercialization? This not only depends on the maturity of technologies, but also the whole ecosystem.
In recent years, SDN has rapidly transited from the concept stage to program innovation and deployment stage, obtaining the recognition of most of the world's telecom operators. However, there are still many challenges in the commercialization of SDN, in particular, if it wants to really show its power in “integration of the same business in the network and adjust the network to the real-time needs”, it can’t miss supports from the upper applications.
Therefore, Huawei will release the online SDN laboratory services to the upper application software developers, so that the developers can get access to Huawei's latest SDN technologies and ports in the first time, they can conduct online learning and sample tests, as well as development and validation, thereby releasing the SDN value and further promote its commercialization process. According to C114, the services will be officially released in September, during October 19th to 20th of Huawei’s first WWDC, it will be provided for the participants to enjoy the experiences.
