Huawei Honor will invest $10 million to expand the India market

For the large scale and rapid developing India smartphone market, Huawei Honor said recently that its goal was to increase 7 times sales in India market in 2015, and become the largest Internet mobile phone brand in India. In order to achieve this goal, Huawei Honor would invest $10 million to promote the development of Honor brand and products in India market, it would build a localized marketing team and establish an official website hihonor.in in India, providing more excellent services and experiences for the customers.

As the forerunner in India market, two products of Huawei Honor, namely Honor 6 Plus and 4X, were formally launched in India on March 24th, 2015. The price of Honor 6 Plus is 26,499 Rupee, equivalent to about 2,649 yuan. The price of 4X is 10,499 Rupee, equivalent to 1,048 yuan. The launch of 6 Plus and 4X is another big move in India market after the Honor 3C, Honor 6 and Honor 3C mini version, which will be an important step in the development of India market.

In order to further expand the market in India, Huawei Honor still takes the products as its core in the overall strategy, and provides ultimate experiences and services for the customers.

In the hardware aspect, Huawei Honor will meet the demands of customers with top quality products. For the software, Huawei Honor will keep the monthly upgrade of EMUI. In the Bangalore Research Institute of Huawei, a team with more than 200 people is engaged in the development of different versions of mobile phone software, which will provide an optimized version in each month. In addition, Huawei Honor has more than 100 after sale service points in 75 cities in India, which can ensure the good off-line services.

According to the introduction, Huawei Honor will cooperate with India’s largest online business platform flipkart and make it the main online sales platform of Huawei Honor 6 Plus and 4X.

The President of Huawei honor Zhao Ming said that Huawei Honor would conduct a massive expansion in the global market in this year, and the goal was to achieve a 4 times sales increase in oversea markets.

Huawei Honor, which entered into the oversea markets in the second half of 2014, has made its footprint covered in 57 oversea markets in 6 months. In 2015, Huawei Honor would strategically invest $100 million for the development of global markets. As we have learnt, Huawei Honor will establish branches in 14 countries and regions (UK, German, Italy, France, Spain, Hong Kong and Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Russia, American and Mexico), and build a supply network in the global range.As C114 knows, Huawei Honor is likely to enter the American market in the first half of 2015.
