23 February 2015, Shenzhen, China – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, will be showcasing a range of its innovative infrastructure and terminal products at Mobile World Congress 2015, Barcelona.

At Mobile World Congress 2015, held at the Fira Gran Via 2, Barcelona, ZTE’s infrastructure division will make a number of key announcements including the company’s Pre5G roadmap and an update on its 2014 Pre5G base station launch. ZTE will also showcase, for the first time, the end-to-end ElasticNet solution, its latest SDN/NFV product, with executives available to discuss customers and recent use-cases.

MWC 2015 will also see ZTE provide an update on managed services in EMEA, while highlighting a number of achievements including its latest wireless revenue figures and 4G shipments, as well as more to be announced at the show.

These achievements build on the momentum the company gathered in 2014, where it reached a number of milestones, including achieving 94.2 percent growth in full-year profit, powered by the demand for 4G LTE networks and smartphones. In the last 12 months it has completed pre-commercial field testing of the world’s first pre-5G 3D/massive MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) base stations, enabled China Mobile to deploy voice over LTE (VoLTE) and has signed 4G deals with various operators such as Aircel and Telekom Romania.

ZTE’s terminal division will showcase an array of innovative smart devices at MWC 2015 including its Spro 2 smart projector and its flagship smartphones, the Star 2 and the Blade S6. ZTE’s aim at the show is to present innovative technology that will influence the way people interact, enabling more intuitive ways of communication with devices that adapt to consumers and facilitate smarter living. With ZTE, consumers no longer need to adapt to technology – the technology adapts to them.

ZTE’s handsets offer innovative voice and gesture control, with the ZTE Star 2 featuring the latest MiFavor 3.0 customisable user interface and voice assistant – the industry’s first system-level voice solution. The Blade S6, which features ZTE’s innovative Smart Sense, includes an intuitive and practical set of gesture and motion controls. ZTE Spro 2 is an all-in-one portable smart projector with mobile hotspot and Android platform.

At the event ZTE will be speaking at several seminars, addressing current and future infrastructure trends. These include the Smart Voice seminar on day one and a session speech entitled “Big Data-Based Feedback Loops for Telecom Systems” on day four. On the second day of the event ZTE will be hosting its own forum, in collaboration with the GSMA, on “Expanding LTE Boundaries” – where attendees will discuss the future mobile internet of everything. ZTE will also be hosting its Cool Night client party on Tuesday, March 3.

ZTE’s presence at MWC 2015 will adhere to its credence of ‘Tomorrow Never Waits’, with the company showcasing its vision of a connected future in its ‘Smart Home’ and ‘Smart Voice Experience’ rooms, which can be found at ZTE’s stand, 3F30 & 3G30, Hall 3.
