Datang Telecom Technology Company (Datang Telecom) announced in the evening of 25th its wholly-owned subsidiary Leadcore Technology signed “Technology Transfer Contract” with the share holder, Academy of Telecommunications Technology subsidiary Datang Telecom Technology Industry Shareholding Company (Datang Holding), transferred and authorized part of non-patent technology of GSM/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA/LTE multi-mode devices platform and part of related patents, with total CNY 598 million transaction.
The announcement points out that in the future, Leadcore Technology will strengthen its technology cooperation with Datang Holding, makes fully use of prospective technology achievements of innovation center, focuses on the main business, develops more competitive mobile device chip and solutions; meanwhile, the leading technology of the innovative center will be helpful in expanding unique device solutions.
This transaction is predicted to bring about CNY 600 million revenue and about CNY 120 million profit to Datang Telecom.
