China Telecom Shanghai Branch completed CloudMall SDN hybrid cloud commercial deployment with Huawei

China Telecom Shanghai Branch and Huawei announced that through joint innovation of the two sides, they have completed the SDN hybrid cloud commercial deployment based on Huawei CloudMall solutions.

China Telecom Shanghai Branch will first provide the Hybrid Service Cloud, On-demand VAS Cloud, One Cloud and Smart Cloud innovation business among the global operators, it can smoothly integrate with third party public clouds in the future and provide cloud intermediary services. This marks that the DC business of China Telecom Shanghai Branch has been fully upgraded, and can provide more comprehensive, flexible and smart cloud services to the mass government and enterprise customers.

In June 2014, China Telecom Shanghai Branch and Huawei jointly set up the SDN innovation working group, starting the research on transformation from DC business to cloud services, so as to support ICT business of governments and enterprises in a better way. The SDN hybrid cloud commercial deployment adopts the Huawei CloudMall solutions, which realizes the resource integration of DC rooms in multiple data centers of China Telecom Shanghai Branch, it can provide hybrid cloud services by flexibly accessing the private clouds to public ones, comprehensively supporting China Telecom Shanghai Branch in the transformation to cloud services.
