Taiwan-based networking/communication equipment maker Arcadyan Technology expects to begin shipments of 3G femtocells and LTE routers, mainly to telecom carriers in Europe, in the first half of 2011. The femtocell may also be adopted by telecom carriers in Asia, according to the company.
Arcadyan expects increased shipments of VDSL devices in 2011 and will begin shipments of GPON equipment in the second half.
Revenues for 2011 will likely increase on-year due to new products. Overall gross margin may remain unchanged at 13-14% due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, Arcadyan said.
