Satcon Technology Corporation Appoints Donald Peck as Chief Financial Officer

Satcon Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:SATC) has appointed Donald Peck as chief financial officer. The appointment was made effective immediately. Mr. Peck offers Satcon more than 30 years of experience with financial management, operations, and strategic business development. Previous to Satcon, Mr. Peck served as the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Egenera, Inc. He has also served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of First Marblehead Corporation. During his time at First Marblehead, Mr. Peck successfully completed the company’s Initial Public Offering. Mr. Peck earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. His JD was earned from Cornell Law School. SatCon Technology Corporation (SatCon) is a clean energy technology provider of utility grade power solutions for the renewable and distributed energy markets. The Company delivers power conversion solutions and system design services for large-scale renewable energy plants. The Company's products are utilized by businesses and utility companies to convert renewable energy sources into electrical power. The Company also develops, designs and builds power conversion electronics, power management and distribution systems for a variety of defense and commercial applications through its Applied Technology division. The Company offers system design services and solutions for management, monitoring, and performance measurement. The Company operates through its two business segments: Renewable Energy Solutions and Satcon Applied Technology.
