According to the 2009 Top 100 Industrial Enterprises List released by Science, Industry, Trade and Information Technology Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (SZSITIC), Huawei, in place of Foxconn, was selected as the No. 1 on the list. It is reported that, comparing with that of last year, there were 16 new enterprises included in the list, 60% of which engaged in electronic industry.
The statistics date from the SZCITIC shows that Shenzhen achieved industrial added value about 342.99 billion RMB in scaled enterprises, which was increased by 8.7 over last year. Among them, the top 100 industries realized a main income of 859 billion RMB, accounting for 58.3% of the city’s revenue. It created a profit of 62.5 billion RMB, accounting for 72.7% of the whole profit by the scaled industrial enterprises.
The selection of top 100 industrial enterprises is mainly based on the output value of the previous year. The enterprises on the list will get more policy support and convenient services from the relevant government departments.(http://www.szcpost.com)
