US-based networking solutions provider 3Com Corporation has won a contract to provide the Government of Israel with advanced core and edge networking solutions for its new LAN infrastructure project. The multi-year agreement is part of the government's plans to build new network to support its growing online initiatives. Ron Sege, president and COO of 3Com, said: "They deserve high-quality solutions and ultra-responsive support at a lower price point, particularly in today's economic environment. 3Com once again separated ourselves from the competition by delivering exceptional business value and higher performance."
