Nortel (NYSE:NT) (TSX:NT), a communications technology company, is opening a new office in Lagos, Nigeria, to meet demand for communications in Western Africa.
Nortel's new Lagos office will deliver technical and operational support to the company's enterprise and carrier customers in Western and Central Africa and to CDMA customers.

According to the company, Nortel is committed to its customers in Western Africa and the opening of its new office in Lagos will help the company serve the region in a faster and more efficient manner.
