ZTE Corporation ("ZTE"), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions has announced that it is playing a key role in the development of modern network infrastructures in Germany and is opening a new office in Bonn.

Since its introduction into the European market in 2000, ZTE has expanded rapidly with 25 branches across Europe. The company now has a presence in the principal European markets including the UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Turkey. Founded in 2005 ZTE Deutschland GmbH now has 50 employees at its headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany, 60 percent of them recruited locally.

ZTE's long-standing relationship with Deutsche Telekom has been stepped up considerably in the last few months. As part of ZTE's efforts to support Deutsche Telekom in setting up modern business units for fixed and mobile networks, Deutsche Telekom will be moving to their own premises in the new Bonn office.
