Chinese telecom equipment provider ZTE (763.HK, 000063.SZ) plans to build a research and development team for LTE and 4G projects with over 2,000 employees, reports Sohu. The company has partnered with 4G research including those housed at Tsinghua University, Southeast University and Beijing Jiaotong University, said Hu Jian, chief of ZTE's Communications Standard Department.
