South Korean technology vendor Posdata has been awarded a contract by Chinese communications provider Airway to supply WiMAX equipment for what it claims will be China’s largest wireless broadband network deployment to date. Under the deal, Posdata will provide hardware, applications and services to support Airway’s WiMAX network rollout in Shandong Province, which is designed to serve government and public users.
