Chinese telecom equipment firm ZTE Corp said it signed a deal with Japan Communications to supply the 3G market in Japan with WCDMA data cards for third-generation mobile telephony starting next month.
"In collaboration with our local partner, Japan Communications, we are laying down a solid foundation to provide local telecom customers with comprehensive range of advanced 3G network services," said Qian Qiang, president, East/Southeast Asia Region, ZTE.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
