Finnish mobile phone charger maker Salcomp said its 2008 operating profit would fall from last year's level, citing expectations of weaker volumes during the second half of the year.
Salcomp stuck to its forecast that 2008 net sales would grow from last year's level.
"Salcomp's growth in volumes and product mix during the second half of the year are expected to be more unfavorable than previously forecast," Salcomp said, adding also material costs were expected to be at a slightly higher level than expected.
Salcomp will publish its second-quarter results on Aug. 12.
