Motorola entered into a reseller agreement with Verimatrix, under which the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System for IPTV has been integrated with Motorola’s IPTV solution.

Motorola’s VIP series of IP set-top boxes are already deployed with Verimatrix VCAS in IPTV systems worldwide. The two companies said they’re also working together to integrate and certify new VIP set-top models.

Widevine Technologies, which has filed two patent-infringement lawsuits against Verimatrix, announced a reseller agreement with Motorola in April.
