Huawei to set up new plants worth RMB 1 bln in Xi'an

Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. (Huawei), a leader in providing next-generation telecom technologies to networks operators worldwide, has inked an agreement with Xi'an, capital city of Shaanxi province, to set up plants worth RMB 1 billion, according to industry sources. Pursuant to the agreement, the new projects would include a global switch technology support center.
