Wataniya Telecom Maldives selects Harris Stratex Networks for upgrade

Harris Stratex Networks has announced that it has been selected by Wataniya Telecom Maldives to upgrade the cellco's core transmission network to provide multiple SDH trunks across the islands. The solution being deployed will provide more than three times the operator's current capacity, with the option to extend this to seven times. No financials details were disclosed.
